As the Administrative Assistant and New Business Coordinator at Foster & Associates, my primary responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, all aimed at providing exceptional service to our clients and supporting our representatives. I also assist clients with their service requests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently. Additionally, I review new business paperwork, meticulously checking for completeness. If any information is missing, I collaborate with the representative to revise and rectify the documents. I also provide technical assistance to our reps, helping them navigate the ever-evolving world of technology.
Having extensively used various apps available in Adviceworks, I have developed a wealth of experience in imaging and customer relationship management systems. This expertise allows me to efficiently open new accounts, close accounts, and handle distributions, among other financial tasks. My educational journey began at Southern Oregon University, where I studied from 2018 to 2020. However, due to the pandemic, I made the difficult decision to move back home and transferred to Clackamas Community College. In June 2023, I proudly graduated with my associates degree.
One of my greatest passions is helping people. Working at Foster & Associates has been an excellent platform for me to make a difference in the lives of both our representatives and clients. The constant learning opportunities provided by this job invigorate me, as I am always eager to expand my knowledge and apply it both professionally and personally. Moreover, I appreciate the freedom to explore avenues beyond client service, such as contributing to our business growth through marketing initiatives like social media campaigns, brochures, and events. Within my role, I find immense fulfillment in educating and assisting others. Prior to joining this firm, I was unaware of the intricacies of investing and retirement planning. Recognizing that many of my friends, family, and countless others share this lack of knowledge, I am determined to bridge the gap. By sharing my expertise, I empower individuals to make informed financial decisions that will positively impact their futures.
Outside of work, I cherish my life in Milwaukie, Oregon, where I reside with my boyfriend and his sister. In my free time, I immerse myself in the world of literature, finding solace and excitement in the pages of various books. Additionally, I indulge in a variety of entertainment, from TV shows to anime. My beloved cats bring joy to my life as well, and spending quality time with loved ones is always a priority. Engaging in board games, card games, painting, crafting, and exploring new culinary delights are also among my favorite pastimes.
